Rules:

Where do you typically write your blog posts?

In my bed! It’s the comfiest place in my miniature apartment, but one day I would love to live in a house with a yard, and then I will get a hanging chair/hammock, fill it will pillows and enjoy the sunshine! ❤

This is the one. *Heavy breathing*

How long does it take you to write a book review?

Oh no, I knew this would come up. 😀 Ayyy 2-4 hours. For almost all posts. There’s the writing, then the spellchecking, then another round of spellchecking, then making the feature image, then the other images, tags, formatting… The writing itself is maybe an hour? I use notes on my kindle and it’s a super helpful feature.

When did you start your book blog?

March 5th, though I made my blog in January or February 2016 and then quit right away cause it felt overwhelming, boy I was wrong. I love blogging!

What’s the worst thing about having a book blog in your opinion?

Ummm nothing? I just need to organize myself better and learn how to juggle work, blogging, reading, socializing with humans and animals, shopping, chores, traveling, etc. etc. etc….

What blog post have you had the most fun writing so far?

Hmmm… Maybe the Princesses Behaving Badly review, because there were some things that bothered me, and I got to express my anguish openly haha.

What is your favorite type of blog posts to write?

I love doing tags and awards! That is, answering questions and putting silly gifs. 😀 It’s a great opportunity to get to know other bloggers and express yourself, and also to expose your inner freak without being judged.

Spongebob relates to everything.

When do you typically write?

Mostly at weekends because of my work, but on other days it’s always at nigh. I’m a creature of the night.

I apologize.

How do you write your book reviews? With a cup of coffee or tea? With Netflix? Cuddled with your fur baby?

COFFEE. The Gods have blessed us with this oh so glorious drink to keep us awake and concentrated and jolly, until the withdrawal kicks in. I’m a full-on addict and I’m not ashamed. I also love tea, but I prefer the fresh, as in not-in-a-bag tea, so I often go to my local health-food store and stock myself like it’s the end of the world. Netflix? How can you watch a movie and write at the same time? Fur baby? He has fur all right, but my dog is a monster. On good days he sleeps while I write, on the bad ones he irritatingly nudges, smells, and licks my feet dangling from the bed, and if I manage to ignore all of that then he starts singing the ancient song of his people which I haven’t been able to decipher yet.

Every Sammy has his own unique voice, so I’ll have to film mine once and show you guys.

When do you write your book reviews? Right after finishing the book? Two weeks after finishing the book?

I like to do it right away if possible, while it’s still fresh. I have a memory of a Goldfish.

How often do you post?

I try to post something at least 3/4 times a week. If it’s less, then it’s not because I don’t want/feel to, it’s just that my slave masters at work had decided to throw a huge project on me on Friday night.

I tag:

Kara @ Bernard’s Book Blog

  2. Oooh you have a Samoyed! I watched The Proposal with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds and just fell in love with Kevin the Samoyed puppy that was in the movie! If my fur baby wasn’t so incompatible with pretty much anything else I would definitely look into Samoyed as a breed to have!

I take about the same time to write a blog post. It’s funny how something which takes minutes to consume takes so much time to produce.

Thank you for tagging me again, I will absolutely do this as these are so much fun!

    1. Well…look carefully. 😀 They are 90% more demanding than any other kind of dog, and they have strong personalities. Mine is stubborn, talkative, hyperactive, friendly in a way that if someone robbed me he would jump on the thief out of joy, he’s an attention queen, etc. They also have 100 varieties of ‘talking’ and barking, and mine barks like he’s screaming. 😢 Though he’s extremely smart and crafty, I’ll give him that. 😀 You can also make 50+ sweaters and hats out of the fur that sheds off them in a year. We’ve actually had our semi-yearly bath today, and it took an hour, and me+my boyfriend barely managed it since Taco is afraid of water.

Hahaha I know… I’m like, it took me 4 hours to write this, and then 5 people read it. 😀

      Anytime! ❤

  3. Great answers! I love how you stuck with the Spongebob theme throughout haha I am the same as you when it comes to reviews. I need a couple hours and I prefer doing them right away. I don’t get how people can retain a memory of all the things that happened and the people that were in the story for longer than a couple days max.
