Hazy Dell Press’s Monster Series is a series of five picture-books for young kids, aimed to entertain and educate through imaginative and colorful stories filled to the brim with monsters.
My number one genre is fantasy, in any kind and form, so I spend quite a lot of time reading (and watching) it. I actually do like many other genres, and I like to explore, but I always seem to skip these in favor of fantasy, so using this freebie I’ll try to list the ones I’d like to read the most, and I’ll try to tick them off one by one, by the end of 2018!
Edward Gorey was an American writer and artist, mostly known by his whimsical and unsettling pen-and-ink drawings usually set in Victorian and Edwardian periods. He died on April 15th, 2000 so I chose today as a fitting date to present him to anyone not familiar with his amazing work.
Obviously, most little girls don’t grow up believing that life is all dress-up heels, fairy godmothers, and Prince Charmings. But the princess fantasy is one that we don’t ever really give up.

Another Tuesday, another top ten list! This one is about the books you’ve loved but will never re-read because of one reason or the other. As I simply enjoy re-reading, and do it quite often, this prompt was very hard to do.
Even though 2018 has advanced enough that I can safely sign any documents without the fear of writing 2017 first and then asking for a new document to try again, there are still 9 full months left of it and many great book-to-screen adaptations that I’m eagerly awaiting.
