A 200 followers thank-you note + a giveaway

Several days ago, I got this little notification I’ve been eagerly awaiting. Why, you ask? Well, if you’ve read my 100 followers thank-you post, you will know that I’d promised my first giveaway when I hit 200 followers. It has happened. I will gift you a book. One of you, lovely and amazing people, will receive a book of choice from Book Depository. But first let’s do the gushing and thanking!

Thank you readers and friends and all of you lovely people who’ve been following this little scrap of internet I own and use to promote my secret agenda (mainly Terry Pratchett and Sponge Bob related). Thank you! I love all of you, and I’m sorry if I can’t read all of your posts regularly, but there’s this stupid life thingie that constantly gets in my way. Have you heard of it? Tell me, how does it work?

Anywho, on this oh so glorious of opportunities I want to let you know that I’m still enjoying blogging, and reading, but the last month was so busy and rough it slowed me down. Summer is approaching fast and my mood is improving, so I look forward to all the books I’ll read and all the posts I’ll write, because everything tastes better in summer! I especially look forward to warm nights, outdoor parties, and sea… I haven’t been to the seaside in two years (because 2017 was just the worst), so I need to go this year (I envy all of you whose country is physically connected to a sea). And, as a total novelty, I plan to…. *drumrolls*…learn how to swim. Yes, I am 27 and freaking terrified of deep water, so I’m going to sign up for group classes soon and embarrass the hell out of myself in front small kids.

 

Okay, enough babbling, let’s cut to the chase! Last time I celebrated a rounded three-digit number, I gave all of you a gift of facts about me and my life. The saying goes, “Don’t look a gift-horse in the mouth”, but I’m 99% certain you’re fed up with my facts by now haha, so here comes a real gift!
