Round Up

September Round-up

Hello everyone! We’re already a week in September, and I’m doing my round-up post this late because, honestly, I’ve got nothing to show. September was a slow reading month for me, and I’ve only managed to complete one whole book, and one graphic novel, yikes. But I’ve made a good progress on two more books, so I’m counting those too!

What I’ve Read in September + October TBR

Books I’ve finished:

Stay Sexy and Don’t Get Murdered, by Karen Kilgariff and Georgia Hardstark – Review Here

A Game of You (Sandman #5), by Neil Gaiman

Vicious, by V.E. Schwab – 75% done (A buddy read with Meeghan)

The Glass Woman, by Caroline Lea – 50% done

The Mermaid, by Christina Henry – still 50% done arghhhh!

October TBR:

‘Salem’s Lot by Stephen King (A buddy read with Kara)

Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier

The Turn of the Screw by Henry James

The Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware

The Bloody Chamber and Other Stories by Angela Carter

Resurrection Girls by Ava Morgyn (ARC)

TV/Movies

I’ve been following the new seasons of Grey’s Anatomy, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (LOVE these guys), and American Horror Story (So far it’s okay). I watched Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in the cinema, and yes, it’s AWESOME. I binged the second season of Disenchantment on Netflix and it was pretty cool. Then, I’ve decided to give another chance to Once Upon a Time, and it’s okay so far. Anddd I’m getting ready to binge the new season of Peaky Blinders!

Other

Not much happened, as usual. I’ve started the Inktober challenge on Instagram, and it’s so much fun! I’m doing two lists, Mab’s Drawlloween Club, by the amazing Mab Graves, and a Witchtober list I dug up somewhere. I’ll post my drawings here at some point. Other than that, I’m slowly preparing for my upcoming trip to Belgium, yay! Me and my bf are going to Brussels for five days, and we’ll finally visit Bruges, which has been my dream since forever. If anyone is from Brussels and wants to meet up for a cup of coffee, let me know! Anddd I’m planning my Halloween costume! I’ll be going to a party on November 2nd, and let’s just say you guys will definitely recognize my costume. 😉 Video game wise, I’ve been playing Don’t Starve mostly for the last couple of months. If someone else is playing it and would like to play together then hit me up and I’ll buy the multiplayer – Don’t starve together! Have a great and spooky October everyone!
