Saturday Aesthetic #7 – Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell

Hello dear readers and friends! It’s the last Saturday of the month, so it’s time for yet another fartsy attempt by yours truly! This time I’ll try to evoke one of my favorite fantasy novels ever – Susanna Clarke’s Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell. If you haven’t read this novel yet, but you love fantasy, then you need to hop onto Amazon or Book Depository, and click order on this one. You shall not be disappointed.

You can see the last month’s mood board here, and you can find the rest of them by going through my home page > bookish > memes, or, through the Saturday Aesthetic tag below this post. I’m doing these aesthetics on the last Saturday of each month, and if anyone wants to join in – feel free! ๐Ÿ™‚ No rules, just put together a collage of photos expressing the mood of a certain book, add quotes if you want and that’s it! If you don’t know how/where to make this type of thing – it’s easier than you think! Hit me up in the comments and I’ll help you.

  1. OKAY I’ve had this book on my bookshelf for sooooo long and keep hearing great things about it but am always hesitant to read it because it’s just so frickin’ big lol. But those quotes. And those pics. Omg. The feel of this book sounds AMAZING and it sounds BEAUTIFULLY written. I’ve already taken it off my shelf and it’ll be my next read!

    1. Squeeeee I’m so glad you’ll read it! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’• A warning about 3 things which made some people give up: it’s big (you know that), it starts out slow, and it has insanely long footnotes, sometimes they even contain a story lol. But it’s all worth it. ๐Ÿ™‚
